When creating the Incredible Hulk look you will have to dedicate lots of attention to the way in which your face will look like. Masks are available for a perfect Hulk face, which you can easily buy online. However, you pretty well only need some green makeup (okay, a lot of green makeup!) and glue on some bushy eyebrows.

Here are some guidelines to help you achieve the perfect Hulk look.

1. Prepare your face & neck

This is the golden rule of any successful makeup: scrub your face and moisturize it before applying any type of makeup. If you do not have a scrub you can very well use brown sugar to exfoliate all the dead skin, then use a soap to clean the dirt from your face. This will ensure that there are no things on your face which can affect the quality of your makeup. Afterwards moisturize the skin, so that your face will not be affected in any way by the substances you put on your face. Do the same for all the areas which will be covered in makeup (neck, hands and even the upper part of your body if you want)

2. Applying the green makeup

Once your skin is clean and moisturized, you can start applying the green makeup. Use a liquid green face paint, similar in texture with foundation. Apply it uniformly with a sponge in such a way as no patch of skin will remain uncovered. If there are areas which cannot be reached using a sponge, choose a small brush to cover them. Make sure that the green paint layer is evenly applied on the skin, so that the makeup will look as accurate as possible. Then, apply the makeup on your ears and neck for a total make-over.

3. Fine lines

In order to look like an angry Hulk you will need to draw some darker lines. Use a black makeup, frown and then highlight those lines by drawing fine lines with the thin brush. Blend the makeup well so that the lines will look deep and will have a dark green color. Use some purple makeup on the lower eyelids for a tougher look.

4. Eyebrows

There are two ways in which you can make your eyebrows look like Hulk’s. The first option is to draw some fine lines using black makeup and then blend it in for some depth and dark look. The second option is to buy a wig (or use an old one) and cut some hair locks out of it. Dye them dark green and stick them to your eyebrows using face-makeup glue. Make them look as bushy as possible, for an accurate Hulk look.

5. Hair

Again, for the hair there are two options: you can either wear a wig and solve the problem in a matter of minutes or use your own hair to achieve the green creature’s look. If you go for the second option you will need a green hair paint spray, an old towel and some styling gel. Apply the spray on the hair and with the towel cover your face and neck so that the paint will not get into your eyes or on your skin. Wait for the green paint to dry out and style your hair using the hair gel. An uneven and dirty look is what you must achieve.

Combine this makeup with a pair of tattered jeans and a green t-shirt and you have obtained the perfect Incredible Hulk costume. Who would have thought that dressing up as a superhero can be so easy!
